A Red Wedding Dress

There are actually many factors you need to look at it if you intend to go for an unusual wedding gown, which is red wedding red. Actually there are many types of red wedding dresses that available for your choice. These dresses might be all red or pitch and patch with other colors of cotton. Thus you get an option of like red and white wedding dresses or black and red wedding dress. As far as concern everyone might thinks they know exactly what they want when they choose a wedding gown. However to select a quality red wedding dress, you need to have some basic knowledge on fabrics, style and measurements. These information are pretty important and it can influence the style of the red wedding dress, Perhaps it will determined that which dress style is best fit with your body type.

Full-Figured

If you’re a full-figured bride, then the best dress style of red wedding dress that you should go for is the A-line style. As far as we know an A-line style lengthens the whole body. Thus they help for not drawing attention to your waistline. Moreover empire waist is another good choice for these gowns and dresses. This is because of empire is narrowest just below the bust, which conceals your waist and hips. A deep V-necks and scoop necks flatter the curvy figures of your red wedding dresses. Thus it always looks best on full-figured women.

Petite Bride

For a petite bride, you can go for an A-line red wedding dress too. It is also flattering well on petite women. This style of red wedding dress will lengthens the body shape of petite bride. Moreover petite women should avoid sheath-style wedding dresses. This is because of it will make them look shorter. Thus there also must be steer clear of very full skirts of your red wedding dress, which will make you look ‘bottom heavy’. You want to keep your wedding dress proportionate to your body.

Large-Busted Bride

Those Off-the-shoulder gowns red and white wedding dress looks wonderful on a full bust bride. It draws people attention upward of the body. Thus it also emphasizes the shoulders and minimizes the chest. However the bride should always keep their red wedding dresses narrow. She must also always bear in mind that wearing a full skirt of red wedding dresses will make you look large both on top and bottom. Furthermore a corset-style bodice with lacing will also highlight your upper body.

Wedding Dress Trends For 2012

2012 is going to be a year of ultra-romance and vintage charm when it comes the design trends in every aspect of weddings, including the wedding dress, accessories, hairstyles, wedding cake and more.

In this competitive market, wedding gown designers are becoming more creative in their designs, making a unique gown for just about every bride. We all have our own vision of what the perfect wedding dress looks like, and chances are, with all of the new designs coming into production, you'll be able to find it!

Here are some of my personal favorite new wedding trends for 2012:
  • Gold accessories are going to be more popular, especially for a fall or winter wedding. Things like gold hair brooches, gold shoes, gold jewelry, and even golden hued wedding gowns. The key to choosing gold accessories with a timeless look, is to choose only one or two that you love. This will keep your look from being too over-the-top.
  • Big layered sheer skirts with lots of interesting details in materials such as chiffon, organza, lace, batiste, crepe, and tulle. Instead of the dress designs you've seen in the past using just one material, dress designers are now incorporating many different materials into one dress, making each one unique.
  • I just love the new corset style bodices with lacing down the back. This is a very sexy yet sophisticated style that goes well with a large ball gown skirt. You'll see a lot of these with intricate detailing using things like beadwork and lace.
  • Vintage inspired wedding gowns with a modern touch. Just choose your favorite era, whether it's the roaring 1920's or a dress inspired from the 1950's, perhaps the dress Marilyn Monroe made famous. I've found a vintage inspired wedding to be a lot of fun! This is your one special day, why not make it your own?
  • Detachable bridal belts can add a unique look to any wedding gown, making it easy to customize the wedding dress you've chosen. Instead of just the colored sash that we've seen on the runways in the past, you now have options in belts that look more like jewelry. They're stunning!
  • Loose and simple hairstyles. Instead of the up-do that looks like it took many grueling hours, styling tools and hairspray to accomplish, think of a more natural look, with loose waves pinned back low on the head or even off to the side.
  • Large hair accessories, such as a gardenia, sparkling brooch with feathers, or a birdcage veil are becoming more popular, but keep your other accessories to a minimum, and let the hair accessory that you have chosen be the focal point.
  • When you think of a pony tail you might think of a more casual affair, but not if you do it right! Low side pony tails look stunning with a one-shoulder wedding dress. This look works best for brides with long hair. Part your hair off to one side and put lots of loose curls in the pony tail. Choose an accessory to go around the band for that finishing touch.

Wearing Winter Wedding Dress In Winter

The bride planning a winter wedding has a greater flexibility when it comes to choosing a winter wedding dress. Cold weather brides can choose to wear the same types of strapless or halter dresses summer brides wear, but they can also wear fur trimmed or long sleeved styles that would make summer brides uncomfortable.

Many brides choose to wear summer styles for a winter wedding. Sure, strapless wedding dresses are all the rage right now, and they do look nice, but how can a bride enjoy herself when she's shivering? If you will be wearing a style that doesn't offer any protection from the cold, it will be in your best interests to wrap yourself in something warm. A white faux fur or velvet wrap, shrug, shawl or hooded cape looks stunning a top a white wedding dress. Some brides even go for color and choose a red velvet or velour stole to wear over their wedding dresses. Those who go with a long flowing cape, may choose to wear a hood instead of a traditional veil or headpiece.

There are some beautiful winter wedding dress styles to choose from as well. Many dresses come with long sleeves. A thick satin dress or one made of white velvet or velour would rival those summer styles and in fact, may even look more elegant and formal. A style with faux fur trim around the sleeves and collar will simply look stunning.

Since most brides are opting to go the strapless or sleeveless route, winter wedding dresses aren't as plentiful as their summer time counterparts. If you find pictures of winter wedding dresses in bridal magazines, you may want to call bridal salons in your area to see if they carry the dress. Many will order one for you if they don't have it in stock. You might also find a winter wedding dress online. Keep in mind however, that when you purchase a wedding dress online, you don't have the benefit of being able to see the dress in person. You can't examine it for flaws, nor can you try it on. Make sure you're able to return the dress within a certain amount of time, say thirty to sixty days, if it doesn't fit properly or has flaws.

You can also have a winter wedding dress made for you. If you have a particular style in mind, discuss it with your seamstress. She may either know of a pattern or be able to make a pattern for you.

If you're getting married in the winter, why would you want to wear a summer gown? Dress according to the season by choosing a winter wedding dress. You'll look stunning as you walk down the aisle in stunning velvet or faux fur. Sparkly jewelry will add an "icicle" effect to your outfit. Best of all, you won't look like every other bride getting married during the winter months.

Knowing Chinese Wedding Dress

When we heard about Chinese wedding dress, the first thing that comes up in our mind is a one-piece dress in red with gold embroidery. This is called Qi Pao and this has been the very old wedding dress of Chinese bride. We are also familiar that red is the main color of this country’s tradition. But these days, lots of Chinese wedding dress is in white colors just like other common wedding dresses.

However, most Chinese brides are willing to maintain the tradition of wearing the traditional Chinese wedding dress. Red color that is being the symbol of luck is an absolute. The embroidery is sometimes in abstract though some are forming silhouette of golden dragon.

There are no accessories for brides to be when wearing Chinese wedding dress. This is because the dress itself has already too much embroidery in gold. Some brides prefer to wear red veil but others only count on the beauty of the dress to reveal the brides’ skin complexion. Surely wedding theme for almost all Chinese wedding is the traditional one including the famous dancing dragon called Barongsai.

Traditional adornments include satin lace in a fitted bodice dress along with the embroidery. Beadwork is also excellent and adding the charm of the dress. Surely, all traditional Chinese wedding dress is always long with sleeves. But some designers have created modern style such as sleeveless, yet still, long dress with low lines.

A bride can choose a gown with looking like a bell-shaped skirt with a modern fitting or lace made using satin and decorated with beautiful frills. Select long Chinese wedding dresses with mind-blowing decorations made of flower patterns. Some can add up to the dress’s beauty.

When deciding to have Chinese wedding dress, you can go to any bridal store both on department stores or online stores. It will be better if you choose it yourself and have it fitted rather than choosing one online. Purchasing wedding dress online can take time for you in fitting it.

Wedding Videos and Pics

The only thing more important than living and loving on your big day is being able to look back at that day for years and years to come. This requires you to have images and video from your big day. For most people this includes everything from the preparation for the ceremony all the way to the end of your reception. However, choosing exactly how you want to execute your photos and videos can be very challenging.

A wedding video is a great live representation of the love and happiness that you and your guest experienced on your wedding day. Therefore choosing the right way to capture this video is a very important step in securing a videographer. You should ask about the videographer’s past wedding experience, whether he or she has video samples for you to view, what type of equipment they will be using, and what packages they will offer to fit your budget. After all, your video needs to be perfect so please ask as many questions as you need to. Also discuss what you would like to see done with your video, you can do this by citing other wedding videos that you have seen, this way you and the videographer are both on the same page. After all aspects of your video have been discussed you and the videographer should make a written agreement so that the two of you know exactly what to expect on your wedding day. An important note ; if you know of a videographer that you absolutely want to use book them six or more months in advance of your wedding day.

The only thing that will probably last longer than your wedding video will be the photos. This is all the more reason to make sure that you choose the best photographer for the job. Just like with the videographer make sure that you and the photographer go over all of the particulars of your big day. Assure that you voice all of your opinions , wants, and needs in order to see how they can be accommodated on the day of the wedding. If you have a particular place in mind for your photos let the photographer know ahead of time so that he or she can plan for what equipment they need to bring for the specific environment. You can also request that the photographer and videographer work together or are a package deal to assure that the pictures and videos look like they are coming from the same wedding. Just like you would do with the videographer have a written agreement drawn up so that you are clear on what is expected on the day of your wedding.

In all you should be looking forward to how much fun you are going to have while shooting the wedding video or taking wedding pictures. A stressful environment leaves very little space for fun times.

Looks best on: Almost anyone
Not so good on: Some A-lines have a very fitted top, which will not be comfortable for every body type -- especially those with bigger busts.
Ball gown
What it is: Fitted bodice with a full, bell-shaped, floor-length skirt. Usually reserved for more formal weddings.
Looks best on: Tall brides and brides who are heavier on bottom than on top

 Kate's Wedding Dress Reveal

In the days leading up to Kate Middleton's wedding to Prince William, the frenzy about who exactly was the designer favored with the task of creating the royal wedding dress became nothing short of an international obsession.
Incredibly, given the notoriously gossipy habits of the fashion world, and even in the era of Twitter and smartphones, this was a leak that Julian Assange himself wouldn't have been able to find.
The closest anyone got to solving the mystery before Kate actually walked down the aisle in her ethereal, ivory satin McQueen fantasy was the eagle-eyed then–Telegraph fashion editor, Hilary Alexander. She bravely put her head above the parapet by (correctly) declaring that the woman scuttling into Kate's hotel the day before the wedding was Sarah Burton—the creative director of McQueen who took over at the label after the death of the designer in February 2010.
Burton was wearing a huge fur trapper hat to conceal her identity, but, amazingly, Alexander positively identified Burton on the basis of her "distinctive studded leather belt doubled through the belt loops of her jeans" and her flat "ballet pumps."
Now, for the first time, Burton has spoken about how she managed to keep the biggest fashion secret of the 21st century, in an interview in the December issue of Vogue, out today.
“It was so great to actually keep a secret, especially in this day and age when everyone talks about everything,” she told the magazine.
Nobody but a “core team” was told that Burton was doing the job, Burton was not allowed to tell her own parents, and the dress was constructed entirely off-site.
Vogue writer Sarah Harris says that “the small matter of a major Alexander McQueen retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art just four days later (Savage Beauty attracted a record 660,000 visitors) proved the ideal cover-up as Burton shuttled back and forth between fittings.”
Burton tells Vogue, "Because my core team knew, it was OK for me to disappear and come back, then disappear again. But I remember other people asking me, 'Are you coming in on Friday?' And I'd say, ‘Oh, yeah, see you in the morning.' I'd be scheduling meetings knowing full well I wasn't going to be there for them."
Harris writes, “On the day, Burton could be glimpsed at the Abbey entrance, adjusting the bride's [nine-foot] train. It's this friendly, hands-on approach which no doubt reassured Catherine Middleton, who is said to have felt immediately comfortable with Burton, despite initial reservations about McQueen being the right choice.”
Burton says, “I remember standing in Westminster Abbey thinking, 'This is unreal.' It was like a fairy tale. And all I could think was, 'I hope I don't trip over.' I didn't realize the enormity of it until much nearer the wedding day. It was a magical experience.”
Since the wedding dress, and the enormous quantities of requests that followed, Burton according to Harris, “harbors plans to structure the couture side of the business too.”
McQueen has never been hotter. In recent months, public figures such as Michelle Obama, Anne Hathaway, Anna Paquin, and Cate Blanchett have all been sighted in McQueen creations on the red carpet.
Burton talks in the interview about how she was initially reluctant to take on the job after Lee McQueen's death.
“I definitely considered not taking this job. I was at such a loss, he was such a huge part of my life, my every day. I could finish his sentences, but I couldn't finish anything, and that terrified me.” She adds, “I can't do what Lee did. He was an incredible visionary with the shows, and that's not what I do.”
Burton says, however, that the events since McQueen's death have been remarkable. “Out of such terrible, tragic times and from under this dark cloud came that dress and that incredible exhibition, and it's just been brilliant for the whole team, and so special to be a part of it.”

Stop the looms!
Kim Kardashian’s plans to divorce Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage may have left fans stunned, but production of her wedding dress replicas is still moving full speed ahead.
PHOTOS: See Kim and Kris' wedding album
Vera Wang told E! News in September that two of the three gowns she designed for the newlywed's August 20 wedding would be recreated for her David's Bridal White by Vera Wang collection that hits stores in January 2012.
Kardashian's tulle gown and mermaid dress are slated to roll into David's Bridal locations a month later in February 2012 for around $1,500 each.
VIDEO: Kim and Kris -- what went wrong?
The question is, will brides who were anticipating the gowns' arrival still want to get decked out in creations that are tied to a short-lived marriage that ended in divorce?
"When [the dress] was going to be sold, it had to do with the fairytale wedding of Kim Kardashian. And it was a fairytale -- over 4 million people tuned into both parts when E! aired it [on October 9 and 10]. So there's real legitimate interest in this, but will it carry over to the sales of the wedding dresses?" The Wall Street Journal's Elva Ramirez says in a report.
Meanwhile, a source tells Us Weekly, "The gowns were 'inspired' by Vera's designs for Kim. They will still sell as they are beautiful gowns regardless of what's happened."

Poll Results Find Black Wedding Dresses Popular

A witch’s wardrobe or gothic-inspired garb may be the order of the day on Halloween, but how many women would like to extend the trend of wearing a noir number to the day of their nuptials? Over the years brides-to-be have been married to the tradition of exchanging vows in white, but with the recent unveiling of Vera Wang’s collection of dark “I do” dresses the color of night has recently become an intriguing option for those who wish to walk down the aisle in style.
SodaHead.com, the web’s largest opinion-based community, has just released the results of a poll which shows that 63 percent of respondents think that black wedding dresses are “cool,” while only 37 percent think they are “creepy.” Seventy-six percent of singletons also selected the “cool” option, with just 24 percent thinking that somber silhouettes are a fright. Those who already have a ring on their finger have mixed emotions about ringing in the new darkly beautiful bridal designs, with 50 percent proclaiming the color “cool” and the other half horrified by the hue.

Choose suitable wedding shoes

Choose suitable wedding shoes is important for your whole appearance. Here are many styles of shoes for your reference.
Sparkle Motion
Bling, glitter, sparkle—call it what you will, but some brides just can’t get enough. If you’re wearing an over-the-top embellished gown, go for broke with a pair of shimmering shoes. Or, if your dress is simple, let your heels be the exclamation point of your wedding-day look.

A Touch of Lace
Duchess Kate’s lace sleeves may have gotten all the attention at the Royal Wedding, but we also loved the hand-embroidered lace Alexander McQueen pumps she wore. But if “classic princess” isn’t really your cup of tea, put an edgy spin on the lace look with one of these naughty-but-nice styles.

Heavy Metal Lover
More sedate than glitter, but riskier than classic white, metallic wedding shoes offer your wedding-day look some added oomph.

Wear the Rainbow
Brides in bold-colored heels is a wedding trend that shows no signs of stopping. We say opt for jewel tones—the richly saturated hues make the strongest impact.

Pretty in Pink
Of course, not all non-white shoes need be color saturated. A blush heel channels a softer, more traditional bridal vibe, while still allowing you to deviate from the norm.

Finding a Pattern
Patterned shoes feel instantly playful, from coquettish polka dots to wild animal prints. After all, you’re already the life of the party, so why shouldn’t your shoes join in on the fun?

A White Wedding
Opting for a traditional white heel doesn’t necessarily mean you’re playing it safe. Look for whimsical design details—ruffles, bows, or rosettes—to spice things up.

Beach, Please
Sandals are obviously the best choice for a beach wedding, but a sweet pair of flats are also appropriate for a host of casual venues, including gardens, backyards, and barns.

Collection of Wedding Dresses

After choosing wedding dress, the next task is to find an appropriate bridesmaid dress. It is one of the most important parts of planning a wedding ceremony.
About colors, you can have a range of options. You can choose the color just the same as you, or you can select one different from yours but complimentary. Another option is that you can choose the color of your bridesmaid dresses that are totally contrasting with yours. Personally, I agree with both ideas, especially the second one. Choose the color that is different from you so that to add some variants and exotic; however, the color should belong to the light range, for example: pink, light blue etc. And it may be a good idea to have a firm idea in advance what you want. Before you decide on a different color to the bride you have to consider the overall look, and think of flowers, corsages or other accessories. And never forget to match with your groom and best man.
Since your bridesmaids dresses must compliment your own bridal dresses, contrasting styles will look disastrous. You can search from current fashions in bridesmaids dresses at with the Mori Lee and Bonny. Strapless wedding dresses are very popular now as are spaghetti straps. Lengths vary but be sure to go for one length for all to look co-ordinate.
Do remember that an appropriate bridesmaid dress will add a lot of charm to your wedding.

Some tips when preparing their wedding gowns

Preparing a wedding need to consider a lot of things. Here are some tips that brides should know when preparing their wedding gowns.
1. Dress budget should consist of a variety of accessories
Wedding dress is an essential clothing for any wedding, but different styles have different price. Even for the same dresses, bridal salon and clothing store may give a different price. Therefor, if you want to buy a wedding dress within your budget, you’d better visit as many stores as possible. And the accessories are also important, such as shoes, veil, underwear, necklaces, and other aspects that would be required. You should spend some time selecting these accessories. So your budget should consist of outfits for your in big day.
2.Try on wedding dresses, the more, the better?
Many brides have a greedy heart, they all think try on wedding dresses – the more, the better. They feel the perfect must be behind. In fact, this is a wrong idea. When you try on different wedding dresses, every test will have different feelings, sometimes try too much, you may feel this one is beautiful and that one is also nice, you will be confused. The best way is to find a style which is fit for you before you go to stores, and then pick out three or four sets of your favourite to try on.
3. Which wedding dress is fit for small chest?
The girl which has small chest can choose empire or sweetheart dresses. These two kinds of the dresses can make your chest looks chubbiness.
4. What style fits for small girls?
If your bridesmaids are slender, slim-style can be a good choice, such as a line wedding dresses, their charm will be presented very outstanding.

The jewelry to match your dress

You’ve chosen a beautiful wedding dress for your big day. Now you need to Select the jewelry to match your dress.
1. Take into consideration your “something blue.” Try to choose necklace and earrings with small sapphires in them for a mature and unique look.
2. Talk to your mother, an aunt or a grandmother for a piece of jewelry as your “something old.” A string of pearls for your neck is a popular choice.
3. Make sure the length of your necklace matches your dress. You don’t want your gown to cover your necklace. Chokers are good for strapless gowns, and pedants that mimic a V-neckline look fabulous with V-necklines. Avoid wearing a necklace if your gown is heavily beaded or laced in the bodice.
4. Think about how you want to wear your hair with your earrings. If you’re going to wear your hair down, slightly heavier earrings may look nice. Smaller ones are better with hair that’s up or heavily beaded gowns.
5. Remember your hair. Many brides wear tiaras, barrettes or even weave pearls through their hair. Speak to your hair dresser to find out what kind of hair adornment would work with your hair style.
6. Consider wearing gloves with a bracelet for a classic and old-fashioned look. This looks great with an older style gown but may look odd with a more modern gown.

Choose a color

Although white wedding dress has always been very popular, colored wedding dresses are making a comeback in the fashion world with designers embracing bright hues of shimmering pinks, metallics, and bold primary colors in their bridal gown collections. Do you know how to choose the color of your wedding dress? Here are some tips:
* Choose a color that is flattering to your skin tone. For fair skin tones choose couture gowns in ivory, latte or pale pink. For darker skin tones choose silver, bronze or green.
* Choose a color that has cultural significance. For example, in Chinese and Indian cultures red is a symbol of wealth and prosperity.
* If you don’t want a colored wedding gown, but want your dress to reflect your wedding theme, add a hint of colour to your bridal wear with a sash, waistband or pattern.
* If you’re stuck for wedding color ideas, consider the colour themes from other elements of the day–such as your flowers, cake or stationery and match your dress to them.

New Jersey Wedding Inspiration by A Garden Party

As we get those first few days of fall under our belts it’s nice to have something pretty to help make the transition into a new season a little bit easier. That’s exactly what I’m loving about this inspiration session from the talented sisters of A Garden Party. This super chic shoot is the perfect palette to get us settled into September (so what if it takes until the 23rd for us to get comfy?) We’re completely loving the rustic, vintage vibe. It’s sophisticated while still being totally approachable and playful… a beautiful bride in cowboy boots doesn’t hurt either. And you know any inspiration that can easily go from an outdoor wedding to fall dinner party is going to be a hit here.
 Farm Inspiration 5
We asked one of our previous brides (we did her wedding a few months ago) to bring out her wedding dress again and of course she jumped at the chance. Her gown had a huge tulle skirt and a crystal beaded bodice that we thought contrasted wonderfully with the vintage setting. She completed the look with a pair of boots. Her bouquet featured oranges roses, cymbidium orchids, yellow ranunculus and was accented with equisetum (horsestail) and crystal beaded wire. The bouquet was wrapped with fabric that was crisscrossed with some bright orange ribbon.
The shoot was staged in a field in Mullica Hill, NJ. We wanted to keep the look fresh, young, but somewhat vintage. We set a barn door table in place and surrounded it with mismatched antique chairs. The china, linens, and napkins all come from our homes and were chosen because they don’t match, but play off of each other. We hung 3 chandeliers from a large tree branch with satin ribbon.
For the flowers we used yellow stock, hot colored poppies, coral peonies, and orange mokara orchids. We filled the vases with oranges and lemons and tied some hand frayed green fabric around them for some texture. We have had lots of brides recently want to incorporate their engagement pictures into their wedding day, so we tucked some of Denise’s photos in the fabric on the vases – what a great way to show off your engagement photos! We tucked large orange gerber daisies into the napkins at each place setting.
Against the tree we propped a barn door that we hung the couple’s monogram from, accented with a few more gerbers and the fabric. Denise was able to shoot the bride in the field, in a great old barn (with some great light flare) and even holding a small chicken that was running around with a few friends in the barn.

Lose Weight for Wedding

All the brides wish to show their best look in wedding, so many brides want to lose weight before their big day. Follow our guidelines and, without counting a calorie or weighing a single morsel that passes your lips, watch the pounds drop off…

Don’t
* Eat when you’re not hungry. Most of us have got into the habit of eating for reasons other than hunger, when we’re bored or angry, say. Whenever you feel hungry ask yourself: “Am I really hungry or is it something else?” If it’s a comfort you’re after, do something else: have a bath, phone a friend, double-check your wedding plans.
* Expect a huge change in your weight overnight. Aim to lose 1 to 2lbs per week.
* Weigh yourself every day as you’ll only be measuring changes in your body water. A weekly weigh in, at the same time of day, will give you a far more accurate record of your progress.
* Be fooled by low-fat food claims. Some foods may claim that they’re low fat, even when the fat content could still be contributing up to 40 per cent of the calories. What’s more, fat-free foods often need something else to replace the flavour, usually sugar!
Do
* Eat more fruit and vegetables.
* Fill up on high-fibre carbohydrates. They’re low fat, but will help you to feel fuller for longer. Because these foods are processed by the body at a slow, steady pace, they help to keep hunger pangs at bay. Good high-fibre carbohydrate foods include wholegrain rice, pasta and bread, oats, vegetables, pulses (lentils and beans) and fruit.
* Eat some high-protein foods such as meat and poultry. Grill or roast rather than fry. Always trim off any visible fat and remove the skin from chicken and turkey.
* Eat some fat, but especially the polyunsaturated kind found in seeds and fish.
* Drink plenty of water — up to eight glasses a day.
* Eat regularly — up to five times a day. Don’t allow more than three hours to elapse between meals or snacks. Eating little and often will help to stave off the hunger pangs and keep your blood sugar levels even, helping you to avoid cravings.
* Eat when you’re hungry. If you don’t, your body thinks it’s being starved and starts burning vital muscle for energy rather than excess fat.
* Eat slowly and stop when you’re full. You don’t have to clear your plate.
* Eat a little of what you fancy. You can eat chocolate in moderation: as long as you can control the urge to binge, it won’t hamper your weight loss.
* Drink alcohol in moderation. If you want a drink, have a glass with your evening meal, but don’t store up your daily allowance for a weekend blow out — it’ll do you more harm than good.
* Remember that you’ll get more of what you focus on. So spend some time each day picturing yourself as you would like to be – slim and gorgeous in your wedding dress…
* Get more exercise. Just 20 minutes of aerobic activity releases hormones called endorphins that help to improve your mood. The Health Education Authority actually recommends 30 minutes of exercise a day to stay healthy. However, you don’t have to join a gym to work out. Brisk walking will do the trick — it actually burns more calories than low-impact aerobics. All you need to do is invest in a pair of good trainers.
* One way to tot up your 30 minutes of activity is to get off the bus a few stops early, take a walk in your lunch break or walk to work instead of driving. Plan your walks so that you cover flat, uphill and downhill terrain. Start out at a gentle pace and gradually build up. Try to alter the speed and intensity of your walks; do a slow ramble one day and a short, fast walk the next.

informal wedding dresses

The reality of informal wedding dresses is that when you choose a more simple look for your wedding outfit, you automatically become the star attraction – and not your gown!

Informal wedding dresses are becoming the IN thing today. Not only are the gowns leaning more toward informal – but brides have chosen to move away from the traditional white Victorian style gown. It is becoming more common to see the blushing bride sporting colors ranging from the light pastels of a few years ago to the more subdued shades of greens, browns, purples, and pinks.
The informal alternatives to wedding dresses are just like regular casual wear, so they can be used for other events beyond the ceremony and reception. The good thing, though, is that you’ll still look great and you won’t have to worry about spending outside of your budget. This is because going informal is all about putting the focus on comfort and style. For the cost conscious, you should know that you will be spending considerably less money than on the full traditional white wedding outfit.
An beach wedding dress can be equally casual and comfortable and yet at the same time look classy and elegant for your most special day. There are a lot of different informal beach wedding dress styles that you can select from, including strapless wedding dresses, short wedding dressesand ones with sleeves, for those people who prefer to cover up a little bit more.

Select Proper Dresses For Summer Wedding

Summer can be a good season for weddings because of its brilliant colors and long, bright days. However, the heat and humidity of summer weather can wreak havoc with bridal fashion. Brides who choose to match their attire to the season will be more comfortable without sacrificing any wedding gown beauty. Summer weddings have two principle considerations: Climate and Location. Summer is usually very hot, and many summer weddings are at lovely outdoor locations such as gardens or beaches. Brides should select proper wedding gowns.
Once a bride understands the basic considerations for her wedding apparel, she can begin to choose among different attributes of the gown itself to find the most stylish, attractive dress for her summer nuptials.
Fabric: The most important consideration for summer wedding dresses is fabric. Cooler, lightweight fabrics will be more comfortable and keep the bride cool. Cotton, crepe, chiffon, lace, eyelet, organza, tulle, and georgette are the most popular options for summer dresses.
Style: The style of the dress can help it be more appropriate for the season. A tea or short dress will naturally be cooler. Using a detachable train or one that bustles easily will help minimize layers to keep the dress cooler. Brides can also select looser, more diaphanous gowns that won’t cling to the skin. A flowy beach wedding dress is perfect for a sandy summer celebration.

Neckline: Showing a bit of elegant cleavage is perfect for a summer wedding, and sweetheart, strapless, and off-the-shoulder necklines are popular. Brides interested in a more modest wedding dress may choose a halter design, and halters with a keyhole embellishment are sophisticated as well as cool.
Sleeves: The majority of summer brides prefer sleeveless dresses to help stay cool and be stylish on their wedding day. Spaghetti straps are also appropriate, or brides can opt for a feminine cap sleeve design for more modesty.
Color: White is the vastly preferred color for many brides, and bright white hues look stunning with the bold colors of summer. Brides may accent their dresses with splashes of color by using a sash, trim, or other details, or some brides may be as bold as the season and opt for a colored wedding dress.

Wedding Dress Based on Theme

More and more new couples like choosing themes for their wedding ceremony so they can easily coordinate wedding invitation designs, wedding favors, reception decorations, colors, and other details about their big day.
A wedding dress should coordinate with the overall wedding theme, but it should do so with subtlety and sophistication. Brides often spend hours choosing just the right colors for their flowers, bridal dresses, and other decorations, and adding a touch of color to the wedding dress will ensure that it coordinates well. Options include:
* A colored sash
* Delicately colored embroidery
* Colored edging along the neckline, hem, or sleeves of the dress
* An inset panel in the front or back of the dress with the appropriate color or colored embroidery
* Colored crystals, beads, or sequins to adorn the gown
* A full colored wedding dress for a daring statement
A themed wedding dress can be difficult to find, especially if the theme is very unusual. Custom dress designers may be able to incorporate specialized theme accents, or costume retailers may have suitable options for vintage or heavily themed attire. Brides can also search wedding dresses online and designers for unusual designs that compliment their chosen theme.

4. Glass slippers may not be realistic (or comfortable), but jeweled heels should do the trick. A closed, pointy-toe shoe is elegant and timeless. A strappy, jeweled sandal is a more modern twist for a princess.
5.Consider an up-do for your hair. Teasing the hair to add height at the crown of the head will keep you looking sophisticated and glamorous. A chignon or French twist are classics, and large curled tendrils pinned up loosely will feel more relaxed.
6. Finally, top off the ensemble with a cathedral-length veil. Add volume with two to three layers of tulle and set the veil just behind the tiara. For added detail, choose a veil with beading or scattered rhinestones.
